Gordon "Gondor" Coupe had
an epiphany when he found the Turkish lute (called "saz"), and
discovered in himself an
alternate
persona to the Eric Clapton blues man that took possession of him when
he was a U.S. soldier in Vietnam long ago. Educated in France and
Germany, Gordon is also the (reluctant) djembe
soloist in the Dragon band.
