Once
upon a time, Stream thought of himself as simply a flute-player. Those
who knew him also knew that he could not only keep a beat but that he
was such a gifted teacher he could even "make a stone sing."
Because of the urging of those who wanted to learn from him, Stream
became a gifted teacher of both percussion and flute.
Invitations to Stream and his students to perform led to the creation of Stream & Friends.
Following a percussion festival performance, the roster of musicians
expanded past Stream's immediate circle of students. Stream decided to
call his group of musicians The Blue Dragon Band. Since 1997. The Blue Dragon Band has
been jamming, rehearsing, and performing with Stream both front and
center. One of this visionary's greatest gifts is the creation of an
atmosphere of camaraderie with his musical co-creators: Music that
makes you want to dance and proclaim Joy to the World!
