Amara studies, teaches,
and performs dances of North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia,
and Turkey. She also plays finger cymbals, wooden spoons,
dumbek, and frame drum. Amara is co-director of BASSAMA!, a
semi-professional Middle Eastern Dance ensemble. |
