the Washington, DC area.
Flutes and other wind-instruments, Turkish lute, bass, didgeridoos, and
drums of many kinds in shifting combinations join in joyous, dancing, original
melodies.
Our rhythms come from the Middle East, from Africa, from Brazil. There is a pinch
of jazz, a dollop of rai, a scoop of ju-ju music.
There is humor and spontaneity and lots of energy without earsplitting
amplifiers.
Our audiences always get to their feet, because our
pulse gets under their skin. They can't sit still!
